1 oz. Special silicone oil is very low viscosity oil which provides an ideal light film coating for rubber parts. AI oil is 1.5wt which is significantly lighter than r/c car oil (10wt). Low viscosity makes it less adherent to sand and dust.
Maintaining your Airgun with AI silicone oil is easy: drip 2 drops into a propane tank valve before inserting the adaptor probe. When you charge your mag, line up the tip carefully to acheive a good seal and press firmly and silicone oil will be injected into your magazine. 2 drops every 8 mag fills provides sufficient maintenance for your Airgun. More frequent oiling can result in overoiling (drippy gun syndrome). AI silicone oil comes in a handy 1oz container with a reclosable cap. Flip up the nozzle to accurately dispense. Push it back down when you're done. No sloppy flip up caps which drool. No loose cap to lose. 1oz is enough oil to last for many tanks of propane at 2 drops every mag fill. Enough to lubricate over 20 tanks of propane 2 drops per mag, once every 8 mag-fills is sufficient maintenance
